Charles Corley, MEd, LMHC, CCEP, is a NY-state licensed mental health counselor and certified Core Energetics practitioner, with more than 3 decades of experience in healing work with individuals, couples, & groups.

He applies his knowledge of Core Energetics, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Humanistic methods, in a "positive view" of human nature, emphasizing his clients' strengths to help them realize their full potential, through guided and self-directed growth.

Charlie's holistic, body-centered approach to psychotherapy transcends traditional talk therapy and can be far more time-effective (& therefore cost-effective) for his clients. Specialties include relationship issues, depression, general anxiety, child/adolescent issues, loss and grief, and positive growth.

Charlie is the co-director of the Core Energetics Academy with Karyne Wilner and  a senior faculty member of the New York Institute of Core Energetics and The Greece Institute of Core Energetics. He travels to teach at many institutes around the world including; Greece, Brazil, Mexico, Netherlands and Australia.

A former actor, Charlie brings a notable warmth &  pragmatism to his client work. He enjoys regular travels to India, where he has worked with Amma in deepening his spirituality and sense of presence with others.
